Vintage Handmade Alaskan Eskimo Doll
Charming vintage handmade doll believed to be crafted by Alaska Native artists, circa 1950s-1970s. Features a beautifully carved ivory face (likely walrus tusk), realistic fur-trimmed hood (real fur, possibly wolverine or beaver), soft cloth body, and detailed leather mukluks/boots.
This one wears a pink floral-print coat/dress with embroidered flower bands and subtle bow motifs, adding a sweet mid-century touch.
Excellent vintage condition—no damage, well-preserved colors and materials. Unsigned, as is common with many authentic pieces from this era. A wonderful collectible evoking traditional Yup'ik or Inupiaq styles, blending native craftsmanship with period fabrics.
Approx.12" tall. Perfect for collectors of Alaskan Native art, Inuit dolls, or vintage folk items. Legal for resale (pre-ban ivory from Native-made artifact).
