Several carry her sweet gift inscriptions from “Jean & Aunt Liv.” A true time-capsule lot that you rarely see together in one place.

**Overall Condition:** Good for 79–100-year-old children’s books that were actually loved and read. Normal edge wear, light staining, light spine fading, and corner bumps and wear on the boards. **Important Note on Beloved Belindy (1926):**
This vintage book contains racial stereotypes and dialect typical of 1920s portrayals of Black characters. Offered strictly as a historical collectible and artifact of early 20th-century illustration – not for modern children.
***Fun publishing note: the ad page in Belindy lists Deep Deep Woods as a coming title — four years later it finally appeared under Donohue (also included in this lot!).
