Pair of Glen Rabena Pewter Wine Corks – Watchmen & Small Beaver

Two original pewter wine stoppers designed in Canada by Northwest Coast artist Glen Rabena.

Watchmen Wine Cork

Features the traditional Haida Watchmen figures (three figures in high hats often carved at the top of totem poles). The card explains that they alert for the approach of enemies, and each ring on the hat denotes wealth and rank from potlatches.

Small Beaver Wine Cork

Shows a beaver holding a chewing stick between its paws, with the Eagle clan crest on its tail.

Both are cast pewter with natural cork bases and come with their original explanatory cards and boxes. These are classic examples from Rabena’s commercial pewter line of Northwest Coast designs.

Condition - These are New in Original Box. Ideal as a matching pair for collectors of Haida-inspired or Canadian pewter pieces, or as unique functional gifts.
